About us
Honesty remains at the core of our existence as the purveyor of classic menswear and lifestyle.
- the decorum
- the founders
The way we run the Decorum is similar to how we have grown our wardrobes over the years, combining both quality and luxury that make it work for everyone with discerning taste.
our story
The Decorum stems from our love of classic menswear. For us, it’s always been a joy to walk into tailor shops or classic menswear stores around the world since we were younger. Our preference for clothing is different from the mainstream.
Our journey began with of course we being the enthusiasts of classic garments. It’s a gradual progress like everyone else. Starting with local tailors, trying on some hyped brands, we have spent a ton of money and finally learned our lessons. As we have grown older, of course we have developed our liking for bespoke garments. The more we have fun with it, the more we feel like there should be a space offering items selected based on our taste in Thailand and of course we did not have to fly around chasing our tailors and trunk shows all over the world!!
Deep down inside, we also know that we can offer our customers different experience through our familiarity with a good number of tailors from around the globe.
And here we are opening the first classic menswear shop in Bangkok, well not exactly the first, there were some other stores before us but no other store has created a modern experience that attractive to both young and older generations.
At the end of the day, our principle is to seek high quality products that are not spoiled by heavy marketing, unbound by where they were made or who made them. Certainly we also enjoy working with some of the most respectable artisans in the world as well. The way we run the Decorum is similar to how we have grown our wardrobes over the years, combining both quality and luxury that make it work for everyone with discerning taste.
Guy, Sirapol RIdhiprasart
“Guy has always been passionate about classic menswear since he was a teenager stretching as far as his time in boarding school.”
There is something about classic menswear that attracts him. Every vacation somewhere, it’s usually a routine for him to drop by at menswear stores particularly in suit sections. Beyond garments, he tends to particularly choose movies that have guys in suits. Classic menswear to him is garments that last a lifetime. It bucks the trend and suits every age. Good clothing is about the quality of making and the price , it reflects.
